Account and billing
Referrals
Invite a colleague and you both get free runs; how to send the link and track it.
Invite someone and you both get five free runs. It is the one reward here counted in runs rather than in money, so what you were promised is what you get whatever the runs turn out to cost.
Your code and your link
Open Settings and choose Referrals. It holds your personal code, a ready-made invite link, and a count of how many invitations have been accepted so far.
The link is the easier one to send; it carries the code, so the person you invite does not have to type anything. Someone who already has the sign-up page open can type the code into the referral field instead.
What each side gets
| Who | Reward |
|---|---|
| You | Five free runs, added once the invited account verifies its email. |
| The person you invited | Five free runs on top of the usual welcome credit. |
- Free runs are runs, not credit. They do not show up in your balance and they are spent before it.
- They cover generation, project edits, debug and optimize runs. Questions and clarifying questions come out of credit, as they always do.
- They never expire and a billing period does not reset them.
- There is no cap in the product on how many people you can invite.
When the reward arrives
Nothing is credited at sign-up. The reward lands when the invited account verifies its email address, which is what makes the invitation a real person rather than an address somebody typed. Until then the invitation shows as pending in your panel.
Note
A code is redeemed once, during sign-up. It cannot be applied to an account afterwards, so it is worth sending the link before your colleague registers rather than after.
Checking a code before you use it
The sign-up form checks a referral code as you type it and says whether it is recognised. An unrecognised code is a warning rather than a blocker; the account is still created, it simply does not carry a reward. Nothing about the person who owns a code is ever shown.
Referrals during early access
Where new accounts are joining through a queue, invitations still work and still pay out on verification. The waiting room shows the same panel, because inviting people is the one thing that helps while you wait; see Early access.
One link, one site
Your invite link points at silicode.ai, and it works there. Accounts are not shared between our sites, so a code issued here has to be redeemed here.
